Maski against the six tools people actually consider.
I wrote one of these for each competitor I get asked about. They are arguments, not scorecards, and every one of them ends with a section on where the other tool beats Maski, because most of them undercut it on price and three of them are open source while Maski is not.
Every number I quote about somebody else comes from their own pricing or help page, linked on the row it came from. Maski’s own figures are read from its plans API when the page loads, so I cannot quietly leave a stale one lying around.

How I keep these honest
Their numbers are theirs. Every claim about another service links to that service’s own pricing or help page. If I could not find it on their site, it is not on mine.
Not stated is not no. Where a vendor’s pages are silent, the table says so in words instead of printing a cross. There is no cross anywhere in these tables, which is deliberate. Where a vendor’s own pages contradict each other, both are quoted and neither is picked.
Prices are not converted. Each is shown as that vendor prints it, in their currency, with a note on what it buys. Two of these prices buy a mailbox or a storage plan with masking inside, which is not the same purchase at all.
My numbers are read, not written. Maski’s price, alias limits and plan features come from its live plans API, so this page cannot fall behind pricing.
Verified 11 September 2026. I re-check every figure on its source page, and this date only moves when the whole table has been checked again.
